"Teaching the Bible to the world for free..." - Matt 28:18-20

TeachMeTheBible.org is a collection of resources with the sole aim of helping anyone in the world learn more about the Bible. The main worldview represented on TeachMeTheBible.org is the basic Christian worldview as presented in C.S. Lewis' classic "Mere Christianity", although all faiths and worldviews (including atheistic, nontheistic, and agnostic) are welcome as long as the intention is to learn more about the Bible.

TeachMeTheBible.org includes Bible courses with live teachers on a variety of topics including Bible studies, book studies, Biblical Archaeology, Christian Evidences, Church History, ministry training (e.g., hermeneutics, exegesis, homiletics, pastoral ministry, counseling, etc.), leadership training, evangelism, missions, the "deep truths of the faith," and more.

There are also areas of TeachMeTheBible.org which focus on practical prayer, frequently asked questions about the Bible and religion, discussion forums, and links to Biblical resources on the Web.

Most areas of TeachMeTheBible.org are designed to be participative, so we encourage you to feel free to contribute news, articles, sites, ideas, prayers, blogs, etc. to help make TeachMeTheBible.org a spiritual resource for many. Watch Your Life and Doctrine will begin on January 22, 2006. This course will provide an overview of the basic doctrines of the Christian faith as well as basic ethics of Christian behavior. It aims to provide very basic answers to the questions: What do Christians believe? and How are Christians supposed to behave in today's world?

Reading the Gospel of John will begin on January 29, 2006. This course will teach Christians and non-Christians how to read the gospel of John for deeper faith in Jesus. We will learn how to read the Bible more closely and how to put what we learn into practice with increased devotion to God.
